There’s probably no sport that does their All-Star festivities better than Major League Baseball, and on Tuesday they they proved that once again at the MLB All-Star Game.
The pregame festivities in Cincinnati were just simply amazing, and before the game gets underway, they went through each team in the league and announced the “Franchise Four.” Well after that was all said and done with, the attention got turned to the greatest four players that are still with us today.
Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays and Johnny Bench were announced to the crowd in attendance and they took the field together in what was one of the best moments that we have seen so far this evening.
There’s nothing like seeing baseball legends get their moment of glory in front of a live crowd, and as we found out here, it’s even better when you can get four of them together like this. Baseball is a sport that’s built on history, and this was the perfect example to validate that.
