Keith Marshall put the Georgia Bulldogs up 23-3 with his 10 yard screen pass reception, where he shoved a Wildcat and tight rope walked into the end zone.

The Georgia Bulldogs have not had great success in recent weeks getting the football in the end zone. Keith Marshall’s 10-yard screen pass reception marks the third Georgia touchdown on the day versus the Kentucky Wildcats.

Marshall received a well-thrown screen pass from quarterback Greyson Lambert and ran to the right side of the gridiron. Aiming for the pylon, Marshall stiff armed the Kentucky defender and tight rope walked his way into the end zone to make it 23-3 Georgia over Kentucky. Kicker Marshall Morgan would sink the point after attempt to make it 24-3 Georgia.

While Big Blue Nation may argue that Marshall could have been called for a face mask, it looked like a perfectly timed stiff arm, allowing the Georgia tailback to fight for extra yardage on his fourth touchdown of the season.

Initially the play was not ruled a touchdown, as the officials believed Marshall went out of bounds at the Kentucky one-yard line. Upon further review, that call was overturned and Marshall’s Bulldogs were awarded a touchdown pass, their first through the air on the afternoon.

Though Georgia has been inconsistent on offense today, the team is doing a better job of putting points on the board than their adversary. The running game for Georgia has taken precedence over the pass considerably, as the Bulldogs have struggled with their quarterback play in recent weeks.

Keith Marshall’s touchdown might have been enough separation to give the Dawgs their sixth win of the season. The defense has looked spectacular and the running game is getting it done for the Bulldogs.
