USC Trojans

Another top job that will be open in college football after the season is the opening at USC. After Steve Sarkisian was let go by the Trojans, they once again began prepping their coaching search.

USC in 2015 had a top recruiting class and the Trojans are still a competitive team in the Pac-12 South. However, when it comes to USC, it’s all about being at the top and they need a coach that can lead them back to the top of the ladder in the conference and in college football.

It would almost be the perfect fit for Chip Kelly. He can come back to the west coast where he was wildly successful the first time around, and have a pretty good program in place already. The Trojans have great young recruits and Chip Kelly could add even more of them.

He would bring back the hype to Southern California football that it desperately needs. The problem with USC hasn’t been talent. They have had plenty of talent and those talented players have gone on to the NFL. They just haven’t been able to put enough consistency together to be a top-5 team or maintain that ranking.

With the way Chip Kelly can call an offense, they might be able to put up an offense that could be even better than anything Oregon ever had with the big recruiting advantage that the Trojans have. The Pac-12 hasn’t won a national championship since the Trojans last won one.

Chip Kelly could bring one back to the Pac-12.
