Tony Romo injured his left arm/shoulder against the Panthers.

The Dallas Cowboys are 3-7 and trailing the Carolina Panthers by 24 points in the third quarter of their Thanksgiving day game. Suddenly, that is the least of their problems.

In fourth quarter, quarterback Tony Romo was sacked by linebacker Thomas Davis and landed on his left shoulder. Romo was in obvious pain and stayed on the turf for several minuets with his arm tucked into his body. When the trainers offered to help Romo up by the left hand, he refused and gingerly got off the field.

Romo was then taken into the locker room for medical evaluation. It is unclear at this point how badly Romo is hurt. The left shoulder was the same clavicle which he broke in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles, putting him out until Nov. 22 against the Miami Dolphins.

Without Romo, the Cowboys did not win a single game started by either Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel. Dallas is about to be 3-8 and pretty much out of the playoff race despite the NFC East being nothing special. Without Romo, should it come to that, the Cowboys will be lucky to win another game.
