player. 13.
Something to keep in mind here: Philip Rivers was at his best throughout his Pro Bowl career when he has quality targets he can rely on at tight end. Most of that time it was potential Hall of Famer Antonio Gates catching the passes. Now he and primary backup Ladarius Green are both pending free agents.

To make matters worse, their production in 2015 wasn’t all that great compared to prior years. Gates hasn’t even cracked 500 yards and has four touchdowns while Green has 389 yards and four touchdowns as well. Gates is also 35 years old. Perhaps the time is right to add some young blood at that position. Someone with fresh legs and more explosiveness.

There isn’t a better option in this class than Hunter Henry. At 6’5″, 250 lbs he’s built like a defensive end but can run with the speed and quickness of a big wide receiver. He has soft hands to make tough catches look routine and runs good routes to get himself open. Best of all, he’s become a willing and able blocker who can protect the quarterback or open a hole in the run game. A true every-down player.
. TE. Arkansas. Hunter Henry. 34
