During Super Bowl 50 Marshawn Lynch announced his retirement, and here are how his Seattle Seahawks teammates responded.
Perhaps the most pivotal moment of an otherwise dull and uneventful Super Bowl 50 came from social media when Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch seemingly announced his retirement. Lynch posted a cryptic message with simple a peace sign emoji and a pair of Seahawks colored cleats hanging over a telephone wire.

The general consensus is that Lynch was bidding farewell to the NFL in typical Lynch fashion, with as few words as possible. It has caught everyone off guard and stolen some of the shine from the actual game.
The news is still fresh, but here is how some of his teammates are responding early on to the news. Most notably Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman, who is one of the leaders on the team.
Salute to my guy @MoneyLynch ... It was an honor sharing the field with you.
