Andre Drummond beats Bucks with game-winning tip (Video)
Andre Drummond gave the Pistons a win over the Bucks with a game-winning tip-in
The Detroit Pistons trailed the Milwaukee Bucks by nine points entering the fourth quarter of their matchup on Monday night after falling behind thanks to big first and third quarters for Milwaukee. However, the Pistons fought back furiously in the final period and were trying to make things happen in their playoff push. Andre Drummond was more than willing to fully realize that comeback in the biggest moment of the game.
With mere seconds left on the clock and the Pistons down by one point, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope dribbled quickly to the left wing and jacked up an off-balance three. That was no good just slightly, but the rebound bounced off just by the rim where Andre Drummond was waiting to get a hand on it and tip it back up and through the net to give Detroit the lead with only two seconds left:
The Bucks obviously had the chance to tie things up, but the attempt was no good in the end and Drummonds’ tip-in wound up being the game-winner when it was all said and done.
Drummond has been phenomenal and has come through for the Pistons time and again this season as they’ve tried to remain postseason relevant. With less than a month in the regulars season, this is just another instance of that with the Detroit center stepping up in a big moment.
