2. They’re motivated after last year’s Finals loss

The Cavaliers are a team that has a lot of motivation and a big chip on their shoulder this year.

With the criticism that the team faced after firing head coach David Blatt, the criticism they have received after losing the NBA Finals to the Warriors last year and LeBron James being the most criticized superstar in probably the history of the game, the Cavaliers are showing that they are focused and ready to make people eat their words.

Their focus has been so strong, that they’ve been mentally tough in just about every single situation that they have been up against. When they get to the NBA Finals, the Western Conference representative will be the favorite by everyone and that’s just how the Cavaliers like it.

With a deep roster and a team that’s been running through everyone in the playoffs, the Cavaliers will have no issues showing how much they’ve progressed from the team that they were last year into the team that they are this year.

They’re feeding off the critics and turning it into intensity on the court and that is leading to their success as a basketball team this year.
