5. Joe Johnson, SG, Miami Heat

There is no denying how much LeBron James wants to play with Joe Johnson. This past February, after receiving a buyout from the Brooklyn Nets, James made a serious run at Johnson. In fact, King James even offered to move to Power Forward in order to make room for Johnson in the starting lineup.

“All I care about is winning. That’s all that matters to me,” James confirmed to cleveland.com. “A piece like Joe, you know what it does to your team and if he was concerned about playing time or concerned about starting, then I’ll sacrifice. I’ll sacrifice to get a guy like that to help us try to win a championship.”

Johnson and James played together on the U.S. Men’s Olympic team, and he would be a perfect fit for the roster heading into the 2016-17 season. He is the kind of player that can take pressure off James and Kyrie Irving on the offensive end, and can still fill it up on some nights.

After his buyout last season, Johnson ended up signing with the Heat, teaming with Dwayne Wade on a Miami team that made a solid run through the playoffs.

Johnson fills a role the team will need next season, and will definitely be someone the Cavaliers target this off-season. He may take a veteran minimum deal just win a title with James in Cleveland.
