Jake Browning is becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the country, and it’s no surprise that he plays for a Pac-12 title contender. It seems like elite quarterbacks are produced by this conference on a regular basis, and it might have something to do with a majority of pass-heavy offenses.

The Huskies have their highest ranking to start the season in quite a while and the excitement is due, in large part, to head coach Chris Petersen bringing the program back. Off to a 3-0 start with one of the better defenses in the country, how could a team like this fall to an unranked team like Arizona?

This one might be tough for Arizona to win, but playing Washington at home helps. The Wildcats could be down starting quarterback Anu Solomon yet again after he suffered a knee injury during a Week 1 loss to BYU. He’s one of the better young quarterbacks in the nation and has the potential to be a force on the ground as well as through the air.

Brandon Dawkins has filled in quite nicely, though, passing for 458 yards and two touchdowns with a 62 percent completion rate — a little less accurate than Solomon. However, his 215 rushing yards and five touchdowns could be the difference.

Washington hasn’t faced Dawkins yet and the scouting report on him might be slim. A backup quarterback with a ton of potential and something to prove hosting a top-10 foe in Pac-12 play just screams upset.
