12. Darrelle Revis – $118,211,130

Darrelle Revis has lived by one motto since joining the NFL, and that motto has been “show me the money.” Revis has been the most elite cornerback in the NFL during his time in the league, though his skills have diminished over the past few seasons. Still, he signed a huge deal to return to the New York Jets in 2015, and should finish his career with a ton of bread in his pocket.

The New York Jets made Revis the 14th-overall selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, selecting the cover corner out of the University of Pittsburgh. During his time with the team, Revis invented “Revis Island,” which as a place that quarterbacks just did not throw to. His entry-level contract with the Jets was for $30 million, though that would just be the tip of the iceberg as to the kind of money he would make throughout his career.

Revis signed a 4yr/$46 million dollar contract with the team back in 2010, but he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014. The Bucs gave him an absurd six-year, $96 million deal, though he would only make one year of that salary. The team released him the following season, and after a Super Bowl winning stint in New England, Revis came back to the Jets on a five-year, $70 million deal. Revis has made an incredible amount of money during his career, and based on his play, he could be enshrined in Canton, Ohio in the near future.
