Driver x took home the huge victory with blazing speed at the 2017 Pure Michigan 400 on Sunday.

Time is running out for drivers to make the chase. With yet another repeat winner on Sunday, a new winner did not punch their ticket to the playoffs on Sunday. Instead, the Pure Michigan 400 saw Kyle Larson take home his second victory of the season.

Stage 1 and 2 saw familiar faces score some big points. Martin Truex Jr. took yet another stage win as he continues to dominate his overall point lead. While Truex Jr. was padding the lead he has on the rest of the drivers, Brad Keselowski picked up some important points in front of his hometown crowd.

In the final 13 laps, a couple of cautions and a red flag allowed Larson to do something special. After winning two straight races at Michigan, he won his third in a row and completed the season sweep with a huge overtime performance.

Larson was able to pass Truex Jr. and finally busted out of a slump. Coming into this race, Larson had finished in the 20’s or lower in each of his past three races. The dominance that had been there earlier in the season had been missing over the past few weeks. Here are the complete results from the 2017 Pure Michigan 400.
