Tarvarus McFadden

CB, Florida State

Just like fellow defensive prospects Derwin James and Derrick Nnadi, Tarvarus McFadden will once again not be playing football this week. Hurricane Irma has pushed the game between the Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes to October.

So, McFadden once again won’t be able to put his abilities on display until next week against N.C. State. While the team lost in Week 1, McFadden continued to impress and show why he is one of the top NFL Draft prospects.

His length and physicality offer that rare blend that coaches absolutely love. With the physicality of the game at the next level, McFadden possesses all the tools to make him one of the first players off the board next April.

It’s a shame that we haven’t gotten to see him or the other great players on the Seminoles perform over the last couple of weeks, but two straight byes should have them hungry when they play at home for the first time next week.

One should expect McFadden to have a big day on the field. If it isn’t breaking up passes, expect him to stick his nose in the run game as well and look to make a play. They are going to be fired up and ready to go.
