Brent Barry is ubiquitous for the NBA fan. The former dunk contest winner and two-time NBA champion is seen on NBATV as a studio analyst, on TNT broadcasts as a color commentator, is featured in the NBA2K video game series and also has his own NBA podcast. And he joins the latest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast to share some of his remembrances of Kobe Bryant and to explain how he fits it all in his weekly schedule.

Also covered:

  • What was the process of recording his audio commentary for NBA2K? Did he have the freedom to sneak in whatever he wants to say?
  • Even though he played on several teams, Barry only had two numbers in his career (just like Kobe!). How did he choose those numbers?
  • He was rumored to be in the running for the Hawks GM job last summer. Is he currently seeking a front office job in the NBA?
  • What is an acceptable number of novelty NBA t-shirts to own?

And finally, Barry subjects himself to a special Game of Scones dedicated to his worst games. Can he remember his career-high in turnovers, missed shots or which games he shot the worst percentage?
