The Indianapolis Colts have a lot of work to do this offseason, as they have holes on both sides of the ball. Still, if they can get a healthy Andrew Luck back in 2018, they should be able to compete in a very deep AFC South. Luck has had to deal with issues with his throwing shoulder, and the team has been pretty quiet about his rehab, but dropping back to six shows the organization does not feel they need to draft a quarterback.

With this pick, the Colts may want to bring in the best overall defensive player in this draft class. Bradley Chubb is the kind of edge rusher you can build your defensive line around, and he may end up dropping to No. 6. It seems the teams in front of the Colts are moving around to get their signal-caller, and the Colts appear set to roll with Luck for the foreseeable future.

The best Colts teams in the past have had dominant pass rushers, and Chubb could be the next one in line. He is very explosive off the ball, and can play with his had in the ground, or not. Indianapolis needs to be able to get after the quarterback playing in their division, as guys like Marcus Mariota and Deshaun Watson can really cause headaches for the competiton.
