2. February 23 against Philadelphia Flyers

This game is the second part of the Penguins-Flyers stadium series that was announced a couple years ago. The first game was played at Heinz Field in 2017 when the Penguins won, and now this game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field. There was talk this game could be played at Beaver Stadium, which is at Penn State, but that got shut down in favor of in Philadelphia.

This game will be nationally televised, and most fans will watch for not only that but because it’s against the archrival Flyers. This will be the fifth outdoor game for the Penguins in franchise history as they’ve also played in a couple Winter Classics. These games between the Penguins and Flyers are always great, even though the rivalry hasn’t been the same for a few years on Philadelphia’s side.

Even though it will be played outdoors, seeing Crosby and Malkin go against Giroux and Voracek will never get old. Combine that with Sean Couturier, Nolan Patrick, Kris Letang, Shayne Gostisbehere, amongst others, and it’s always a great matchup. These two play three other times during the season, but this game might be the most memorable of them all.
