Where can you watch the season 2 premiere of the FX drama Snowfall online?
Snowfall, on FX, takes a look at the rise of crack cocaine in the 1980s. The first season largely chronicled how a young man, Franklin Saint, became involved as a dealer. But it followed other storylines as well, including Teddy, a CIA officer with some shady business dealings and Lucia, the daughter of a so-called drug lord.
Franklin spent much of the first season of Snowfall learning the ropes, as it were. He kind of lucked in to his first deal, and had to jump through some hoops (and establish some, shall we say, questionable relationships) to stay involved. But he persisted, and by the end of the season had pretty solidly established himself on the drug scene.
Judging from what is shown in the trailer for season 2, Franklin’s influence has only grown. But that may not be a good thing. The stories of Franklin, Teddy, and Lucia manages to remain largely separate throughout the first season, but that may not continue. As Franklin’s business expands he is ever more likely to encounter Lucia which, based on events in the Season 1 finale, might not end well for him. Or her, because Franklin was the emotional center of the first season, even when his storyline took a backseat.
Quite a bit of Snowfall’s first season was a little disjointed. It felt like the show was trying to do too much, so it never really addressed some of the questions and themes it brought up. However events towards the end, particularly those with Franklin and Teddy, give the show a pretty solid foundation for Season 2. Now they just have to capitalize on it.
