Loser: Any previous Bears long term plans
Well, the Bears were nice before because they were a young team who was ready to compete for the future. They had a young quarterback, a young secondary, cap space, and all of their draft picks for the next few years.
Well, now they have a young quarterback and a young secondary. However, after giving Mack big money, they will no longer have the 6th most salary cap space in football. Plus, surrendering 2 first round picks for him takes away their top draft picks. There is now not much to help them bring in new or young players in the future.
The most an NFL team has surrendered for a defensive player is when Vikings traded a 1, two 3’s and a swap of 5’s to Chiefs for DE Jared Allen. Bears trade for Khalil Mack, when it gets done, will top that, making it the most an NFL team has surrendered for a defensive player.

It is a risk, without a doubt it is a risk. As ESPN’s Brian Burke has pointed out, they will play the next three seasons without a first round pick to use on a quarterback. That is a lot of faith to put in Mitchell Trubisky to lead this team to the promise land.
The Bears have now gone all in on winning now. This trade solidifies that. We are now just to wait and see if they are able to put all of the pieces together in order to do something special.
