What did we learn in Week 1 of the NFL season? That Aaron Rodgers only needs one good leg to absolutely destroy your defense.

Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season is in the books, and what a weekend it was. There were horrendous showings, incredible happenings and even a Harvard grad going berserk in the Superdome, leading to the most improbable result of Sunday.

Last week, we broke out the initial quarterback rankings of the season. This week, and every Tuesday going forward, you’ll see the rankings based on a mix of current play and past performance of an indicator of what’s ahead. Let’s do it.

Nathan Peterman Division

32. QB Bills (LW: 32)

Does it really matter who starts for the Bills? Whoever it is — Nathan Peterman or Josh Allen — it’s going to be ugly. Peterman isn’t an NFL player, and Allen is all kinds of not ready for this moment. The duo combined on Sunday to go 11-of-33 for 98 yards with two interceptions in a 47-3 loss.

Todd Bouman Division

31. Blake Bortles (LW: 30)

The Jaguars continue to win games, but Bortles is underwhelming at best. He turned the ball over with a mindless interception against the Giants and hit on just 18-of-33 attempts for 176 yards.

Jim Miller Division

30. Mitchell Trubisky (LW: 29)

Trubisky moves back one spot, and he should be fine with it. After rolling through the early portion of the Sunday night game with Matt Nagy’s innovative script, things fell apart. Trubisky started 9-of-9 for 94 yards. After that? 14-of-26 for 77 yards. That’s atrocious.
