WR: Dede Westbrook, Jacksonville Jaguars

It pays to jump on a bandwagon early, and being bullish on the Jacksonville Jaguars young stars could be a worthwhile investment on the waiver wire. Out of all the players on the Jaguars offense, Dede Westbrook seems to have the most long-term upside, because he’s been the best of the bunch in terms of real-life performance.

Westbrook’s only poor showing was in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, and it’s hard to catch more than three balls for 31 yards when your team only scores six points and your starting quarterback fails to crack 5.0 yards per attempt.

In Week 5, Westbrook should blow apart the Kansas City Chiefs defense, and he’s a big-play threat who could break off a couple of huge plays. Westbrook absolutely owned the Jets in Week 4, soaking up 9 receptions on 13 targets for 130 yards in a breakout performance.

The former Oklahoma star had 82 receiving yards and an impressive touchdown snag in Week 2 against the New England Patriots. Whenever the Jaguars perform their best on offense, they get Westbrook involved, and he has the most playmaking upside on an offense that seems to want to play faster in 2018.

Westbrook should be owned in more than just 3.1% of NFL.com fantasy leagues. While teammate Donte Moncrief may also be a worthwhile add, Westbrook is just as available on the waiver wire and has more natural talent and 2018 productivity to boast of.
