After you get all of that squared away you enter a contest of your choosing and pick a dollar amount. Select your lineup, stay under the $60,000 cap and hope for the best. So let’s dive in and take a look at FanDuel’s Week 7 highest-value plays. Always remember stacking your quarterback with one of his skill position players allows you the opportunity to score more points in a good matchup.
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals, $7,800
Andy Dalton has been a high-value play all season. In a heart-breaking defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dalton completed 26 passes, throwing for 229 passing yards and two touchdowns. In Week 7, Dalton receives another great matchup as he and the Bengals will take on the Kansas City Chiefs and their 32nd-ranked defense.
Dalton has amassed 1,674 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 149 completions. His 14 touchdown passes ranks fourth in the league, and he will no doubt be in a high scoring affair Sunday night against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ high-flying offense.
Both defenses come into Week 7 ranked in the bottom half of the NFL. Cincinnati is 29th-ranked and Kansas City is 32nd-ranked, respectively. This matchup has all the potential to become a shootout. Dalton will look to keep his team in the game as the Chiefs score fast and often. With the Bengals defense being subpar, Dalton and the offense will have to be prepared to score on every drive.
Through six games, the Kansas City defense has allowed a total of 468.2 yards, 340.3 passing yards, 127.8 rushing yards and 28.7 points per game. With Dalton being $1,200 cheaper than Mahomes ($9,000) you should absolutely take advantage of his matchup and price. It will allow you to take some better skill position players to fill out the rest of your roster.
Prediction: 350 passing yards, 4 touchdowns
