High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Damian Jones (at DEN – $4,600):Needs 19.3 fantasy points. If you’re starting for the Warriors at center for the Warriors, chances are you’re going to put up some fantasy numbers. Jones is a smart player who does a little bit in every category, especially on defense. As long as he can stay on the floor against Denver’s pass heavy offense, he should have another solid night on the stat sheet. Diagnosis: I’m a little worried about his playing time, but if plays, he’ll be fine.

Tristan Thompson (vs ATL – $4,400):Needs 18.5 fantasy points. Thompson had 31 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Oct. 19. The Hawks are undersized and Thompson can hurt them on the glass in a big way. There is some concern that he won’t play quite as much if the Hawks go super small. Diagnosis: As long as he stays on the floor, he should do damage in the paint and on the glass.

Nerlens Noel (vs SAC – $4,000):Needs 16.8 fantasy points. Noel has been solid in both games to start the season, coming up with 18 fantasy points in each contest. He gets minutes as the backup center can make an impact on both ends of the floor. He did had 28.2 fantasy points against the Kings last season, although I wouldn’t put much stock into that. Diagnosis: Should at least hit value. Maybe he makes a bigger impact if Schroder can do more to spark the second unit.
