High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at DEN – $10,400):Needs 43.6 fantasy points. Durant had 63.3 fantasy points against the Jazz on Oct. 19. Given Utah’s defense, that’s a good sign for Durant moving forward. The Warriors are looking motivated to start the season, which is great for their value. At some point, they’ll get bored, but for now, they are playing hard. The Nuggets defense remains a question mark and they are on a back-to-back. With the way Durant is playing and contributing, he seems like a safe bet. Diagnosis: Has one of the highest ceilings on the night. Should continue to perform given the matchup and his mentality early in the season.

Taurean Prince (at CLE – $7,200):Needs 30.2 fantasy points. Prince continues to be the best player on a bad team. He’s averaging 36.8 fantasy points in the early season. He puts up numbers in all categories and if he’s contributing on defense, that’s even better. The Cavaliers aren’t good and this one could be a big DFS game with the way both defenses have looked. If Trae Young doesn’t end up playing, Prince should see even more opportunities. Diagnosis: He stuffs the stat box because someone has to for Atlanta. A good matchup as well.

Cedi Osman (vs ATL – $6,700):Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LeBron who? Cedi has been over 37 fantasy points in both games this season. Given that the Cavaliers will be playing the Hawks, it’s a good bet that Cedi continue his hot streak. His salary still isn’t high enough given the production he’s giving you right now. He’s been a better value than Paul George and the matchup is just as good for him on Sunday. Diagnosis: No reason to think he’ll slow down given his skillset and the matchup.
