1. Kansas City Chiefs

Last, but certainly not least, the Kansas City Chiefs need a win this week. Now, clinching the playoffs is a near certainty, but in the NFL anything is possible. Best way to ensure a playoff berth? Beat the Baltimore Ravens, it’s that simple. Even if they fail to win, the Chiefs can still clinch a playoff spot with a Dolphins, Colts, and Titans loss or tie.

Lamar Jackson is 3-0 as a starter for the Ravens, does that streak come to an end this week? Frankly, it should. The Chiefs are one of the best teams in the NFL and they should be able to run over the Ravens en route to yet another playoff berth.

Patrick Mahomes and company have been exquisite and Andy Reid deserves a lot of credit for what he has done with his young quarterback. Will Mahomes be able to correct their playoff woes? It may be a little early to think about that, but come Monday morning the Chiefs may as well start planning for the playoffs, because their spot is as good as secured.

The division is still up for grabs, however, so the Chiefs will surely be fixated on bringing that honor home for a third consecutive season. A win and their in, that will be the message heading into the game against the Ravens. For what it’s worth, the Chiefs +6.5 is a pretty safe bet, especially at home in front of the Chiefs faithful.
