DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 8, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Kemba Walker (vs WAS – $8,100): Needs 39 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Miami. Kemba hasn’t looked great in the last couple of games but this is a matchup that is too good to pass up on. He’s averaging 58.1 fantasy points against the Wizards in two games this season and they haven’t played defense all year. At home, expect Kemba to bounce back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Zach LaVine (vs DET – $7,500): Needs 35.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. LaVine has been good more often than not in the last month and is coming off a big against the Sixers. The Pistons are playing well but the Bulls being at home helps and someone has to get numbers for the Bulls perimeter. LaVine has certainly been there best option as of late. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Chris Paul (vs PHI – $7,500): Needs 36.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Toronto. The Sixers defense has looked pretty rough without Embiid and Jimmy Butler is very mad right now. A poor defense and bad communication is death against the Rockets and Chris Paul, who can pick apart even the best of defenses. He’s reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
