Neymar (PSG)

The Brazilian striker has plenty of experience in Spain’s top flight following his time at Barcelona. Now a member of French side PSG, Neymar has had domestic success, but failed to win the Champions League.

Signing Neymar would certainly be an interesting choice. Neymar is one of the world’s very, very best player, but he’s been plagued by injuries the past few seasons and had a farcical World Cup last summer in Russia after his play-acting became a major distraction in the VAR age.

The big question with Neymar is how they’d use him. The 27-year-old could start up top, and would likely score a lot of goals there, but given his creativity and skill on the dribble, they may want to use him in a more attacking midfield role.

If Zidane does want to use Neymar as a pure center forward, he may not be the best option. There is a certain other, younger PSG player who may be better value for money in that department. If they’re looking for an all-around creative hub for the attack, it’s hard to imagine them doing better.

If he does play in a more creative role, Real might turn to Inter’s Mauro Icardi or AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek to shoulder the goalscoring burden up front.
