It’s been a full two weeks since the last fixtures in the English Premier League, but they have finally returned from the first of four international breaks.  I was chomping at the bit to return to writing my EPL DFS Breakdowns, and I hope you’re just as excited as I am for Saturday’s main slate!

For the reappearance of my EPL DFS Breakdown, we have a fun 6-game slate featuring four big clubs (with a 5th in Liverpool playing on the all-day slate).  As expected, Manchester City (-2.5) fall into the spot of largest favorite again on the road against Norwich.  The over/under for goals in this game is 4.0, which is one of the higher goal totals I’ve seen since I began writing these breakdowns.  Tottenham (-1.5) have the next best odds to win as they face a surprising Crystal Palace team at home.  The goal total for this game is a solid 3.0.

After City and Tottenham, Manchester United (-0.5 vs. Leicester) and Brighton (-0.5 vs. Burnley) are the only other favorites on the slate.  The goal total is set at a modest 2.5 for both of these games.

We actually have two games on this slate where the spread is 0.0.  Chelsea travel to take on Wolves (goal total 2.5) and Sheffield United hosts Southampton (goal total 2.5).  Neither of these games scream “game stack” or “team stack” but there will still be plays worthy of consideration here that I will get to later.
