Duds

Julius Randle (at PHI – $7,000 on DK; $7,400 on FD): Randle has big game potential but this is a tough matchup against and lengthy Sixers team who is good against the position. On a big night like this, there is more guaranteed value below him. The risk could pay off but there are red flags.

Fred VanVleet (vs ORL – $7,400 on DK; $7,900 on FD): VanVleet has stepped his game up with Lowry out of the lineup. But as previously mentioned, this feels more like a Siakam game than a FVV game. The Magic are very good against the position and there is better value below him.

Blake Griffin (at CHI – $7,100 on DK; $7,900 on FD): Griffin is providing just enough value but not enough value. He can do a bit of everything but this feels more like an Andre Drummond game as the Bulls are very weak against centers but mediocre against forwards. He’ll get points, but you need more for the salary on this night.

Kemba Walker (at LAC – $8,200 on DK; $7,900 on FD): This game could be a defensive battle and if Kawhi plays, that could be extra bad news for the Celtics. Kemba has cooled off in recent games and that’s a red flag as well. One of the top Celtics players will underdeliver in a big way. My money is on Kemba to be that player, which is why my money won’t be on Kemba.

Next. DraftKings NBA value plays. dark

Nikola Vucevic (at TOR – $9,100 on DK; $8,500 on FD): Vucevic is coming off a strong game and has played well more often than not lately, but his salary has climbed and the Raptors are excellent against the position. With those factors considered, I’m worried about Vucevic on Wednesday. The ceiling is high but the red flags can’t be ignored with so much better value below him.
