Here’s the recap of all the high-flying action you may have missed from this week’s episode of 205 Live. Watch the cruiserweights every Friday night at 10 PM.

Isiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Lio Rush

This was Scott’s first 205 Live appearance since November. Swerve controls the match by controlling Rush’s wrist and forcing him to stay mat-based. Rush finally breaks free and uses his speed all over the ring. Rush does a backflip off the apron to escape Swerve and Swerve meets him on the outside.

The Singh Brothers interrupt the match, so Rush & Swerve beat them up when they get to the end of the ramp. Rush makes it a tag team match. Swerve immediately goes after the Bollywood Boyz. He went one on one with Sumil. He keeps him isolated and tagged in Rush and they used tandem moves on Sumil. Sumil grabbed Rush by the foot to flip him and slapped him in the face after he landed. Sumil continued to control the match and kept Rush away from Scott. Sumil eventually tagged Sumir in and Rush is able to get in some offense.

Swerve is tagged in and goes on the offense against both brothers with a flurry of kicks. Rush hits a Stunner and Scott follows with the House Call for the win.

Ariya Daivari vs. Jeff Brooks

Last week, Daivari said as a 205 Live OG, he’d protect the brand against all of the newcomers. This week, he faced a local wrestler. Daivari hit Brooks. After yelling, “do something!”, Brooks hit him in the face. Daivari responded with a lariat and beat his opponent in just a couple of minutes.

After the match, “Daivari Dinero” protects his mansion by continuing to beat up Brooks.

Jack Gallagher Suspension Lifted

Two months ago, Jack Gallagher lost it and attacked Angel Garza. He even head butted GM Drake Maverick before quitting.

Maverick says that Gallagher can return now that his suspension is over.

Tyler Breeze vs. Tony Nese

Tyler Breeze made his 205 Live debut tonight. Breeze doesn’t seem impressed by Tony Nese and his eight abs. Nese and Breeze were both trying out for WWE in 2010 and Breeze signed a contract then. Is Nese still holding a grudge?

The pair start off in a lockup before Nese knocks Breeze to the mat. Nese started jawing with a fan from the ring. Breeze put Nese in a Boston Crab and then took it to the outside where he continued to punish his opponent. When Breeze asks Aiden English if he’s watching, Nese puts the apron skirt over Breeze’s head and hits him.

Both men trade offense and try to pin the other. Nese kicked Breeze in the head when attempted to dive through the ropes. Nese hit a moonsault from the middle rope and still can’t put Prince Pretty away. Nese gets him in the corner and yells in his face, “you don’t belong here!”. The pair continue to go back and forth.

Breeze went for the crossbody and got the win with a rollup pin.

Will we see more Tyler Breeze on the purple brand? When Rush and Scott get to go one-on-one to completion? What do you think about Jack Gallagher being allowed to return? Let us know in the comments.
