Tee Higgins. 17. player. 123. . Wide Receiver. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys were a big disappointment this season, as they looked like a lock to win the NFC East late in the season, and then faltered. The terrible end to the 2019 campaign signaled the end of the road for head coach Jason Garrett, who was replaced by Mike McCarthy, though he did not leave his post in a hurry.

With McCarthy at head coach, the Cowboys should be much better next season, but they have a lot of moves to make, including deciding what to pay star quarterback Dak Prescott. Staying on that side of the ball, they also have to make a decision on Pro Bowl wideout Amari Cooper, who wants to get big bucks, which the Cowboys may not want to give him.

If they decide to let Cooper walk via free agency, they should utilize their first-round pick in 2020 on a replacement, bringing in Tee Higgins from Clemson. Higgins is a big, physical wide receiver who has incredibly soft hands, and could slide into the WR1 role if Cooper’s price tag proves to be too high this offseason.

59. . Wide Receiver. Miami Dolphins. Henry Ruggs III. 18. player

With their second of two first round draft picks, as they traded away the third in this mock draft to move up and get Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins should look to get Tua some weapons. Why not go back to someone he is familiar with, adding Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, who just happens to be the fastest player in this draft class at his position group.

During the 2019 season, the Dolphins played their hearts out for head coach Brian Flores, so one can only wonder what kind of coaching job he can do with actual talent on his roster. Adding both Tua and Ruggs to this offense makes them incredibly explosive, and if they have to roll with Ryan Fitzpatrick early on, you know he is going to love taking shots deep to the speedy Ruggs.

Miami has a ton of draft capital over the next two drafts, so they have a legitimate opportunity to rise in an AFC East that is going to change with the New England Patriots dynasty fading. Flores appears to be the right hire, and entering the 2020 season, you have to think they are going to be even more competitive.
