DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Paul George ($8,000): George took over a lot of Kawhi’s production again. I like George here because of the price and because he should play over 30 minutes. PG and Leonard get about the same numbers when on the court together. That makes George a much better play for a much lower price.

Draymond Green ($6,600): This will be the time Green turns in a dud because he does every time he’s back on my radar. Still, Green is at least worth mentioning since he has at least 42 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. How long will this keep up? Maybe longer than you think since Green’s value isn’t tied to his ability to score points.

Honorable Mention:

Bojan Bogdanovic ($5,900): Bojan keeps racking up solid games. He has been between 28 and 36 DraftKings points in five straight and eight of the last nine games. One of those games was against Denver, the team he plays tonight. I prefer Bojan in cash games since he doesn’t have a ton of upside.

Caris LeVert ($5,700): This is what the Nets have been waiting on all season. We saw a few games like this when LeVert has been healthy. That has been his issue though. My problem with this game is that it is an isolated thing. LeVert hasn’t come close to those numbers at any other point. If LeVert is going to get another start though, he’s completely worth the price.

Tim Hardaway Jr. ($5,600): THJ is maddeningly inconsistent, but his upside is massive, especially with Luka out. Someone has to score for this team with Luka out. Most of the time it’s THJ. Even with Luka sidelined, Hardaway has been inconsistent this time around too. He’s cracked 35 a couple of times and been below 20 in others. Have fun playing slots. I’ll be playing blackjack where at least I have a fighting chance.

Dark Horses:

Mikal Bridges ($5,000): Bridges started on Monday with Saric out and put up a strong 37 DraftKings points. Bridges is still pretty inconsistent, but most value plays at this price are. I like the upside with Bridges starting, but there’s not a whole lot of a production vaccuum to fill. Saric does little when he’s on the court. That said, Bridges is a more skilled offensive player. His upside is worth the risk tonight.

Bruce Brown ($4,900): I’m a pretty big fan of Brown here with Mykhailiuk out. Brown will likely get the start at small forward and could still back up Jackson at the point. Brown has 73.75 DraftKings points in the last two games alone. He has been one of the better pieces of the Pistons lately, and is pretty reasonably priced.

Kevin Porter ($4,300): Porter has a ton of upside. Cleveland just needs to clear out some veterans to give him a chance. Porter has at least 20 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. If a trade happens during the day that leads to more minutes for Porter, I’ll have a whole lot of shares of him tonight.
