DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($11,300): This actually looks cheap for Harden. He has trashed the Warriors twice already this year, putting up 132 DraftKings points in those two games. He looks like a sure 60 here, and I’m not sure you can say that about anyone else. 6x value is definitely on the table and he could go even higher. It’s everything you want from a high-priced option.

Jimmy Butler ($7,900): I find it really hard to trust the Butler right now. His numbers have been all over the place. The Heat and their rotations are very deep. However, Butler has played all three games against the Hawks so far this year and come away with a lofty 48.2 DraftKings points per game average. Butler has been the reason the Heat have taken care of the Hawks. He is a potentially great bargain, but his score could also be low enough to hurt us pretty badly. At any rate, Butler is safer than the price-jacked LaVine.

Honorable Mention:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,300): Kyrie had a setback to his shoulder, so Dinwiddie will be starting for the near future again. He put together 127 DraftKings points in the three games against the break. The two teams he played were the Pacers and Raptors, so they were against two of the better teams in the East against guards. Dinwiddie has averaged 38.4 DraftKings points per game with Philly. I would say he’ll hit that again.

Buddy Hield ($6,600): Hield launched 108 shots in the 3-piont contest over the break. Hopefully that didn’t burn him out! Hield’s victory proved what we have known all along: Hield is one of the best sharpshooters around. He will still play more than 30 minutes a game even if he doesn’t start, so I’m not worried about the “bench” role. Hield’s upside is higher than most in this price range. The floor is just as terrifying.

Malik Monk ($5,400): Monk has played well when the Hornets have played him. That said, the Hornets are moving more towards their youth and Monk has notched at least 28 minutes in four straight and eight of the last ten. His DraftKings point totals weren’t under 25 in any of those games. He’s a solid play against a Bulls team that is weak everywhere else but the point.

Dark Horses:

Damion Lee ($5,200): Lee has done well with Wiggins around, putting up 80 DraftKings points in his three games as Robin. The upside is capped on Lee with Wiggins dominating the offense, but at least Lee has a safe floor again. It fell out from under him for a while.

Coby White ($4,700): Much like Charlotte is playing younger guys, so are the Bulls. White has seen fairly consistent minutes all year, but he’s playing a constant 30-35 with Dunn out. He’s as streaky as they come, but White is super cheap and is capable of flirting with 40 DraftKings points. He’s a nice GPP play at the price.

Josh Richardson ($4,200): This price is just silly. I know that Korkmaz did great with J-Rich sidelined and Philly got a couple of free bench pieces at the deadline but this is still Richardson’s job. He put up 33.75 DraftKings points in 32 minutes against the Clippers in the last game before the break. Expect Richardson’s workload to be about the same in this one. J-Rich is going to do a lot of damage at this price. Enjoy the free space! Everyone will with Simmons out.
