Las Vegas Raiders

1. Cory Littleton
2. Tom Brady
3. Chris Harris Jr.

For the Raiders, it’s all about striking a balance between the desire to start their time in Vegas with a splash signing and the vastly more important need to improve the defense.

That balance should tip in the favor of the latter aspiration. The Raiders defense boasts young talent on the front four and in the secondary but it is desperately short at linebacker.

Littleton is the modern-day prototype at that spot and would offer a much more ominous look to a pass defense few have feared.

Former Bronco corner Harris would solidify the spot across from Trayvon Mullen and see the Raiders take from a division rival. Their offseason, however, will be defined by whether they decide to go after Brady and the success of that prospective pursuit.

It is debatable whether Brady is even an upgrade on Derek Carr at this point in his career. Yet when moving to a new city the name-value carries substantially more weight and there would be no better way of getting people in the seats at the Raiders’ mammoth new stadium than by signing Brady.

Throw in the possibility of getting draft capital for Carr in a future trade, and there is no shortage of motivation for the Raiders to chase the greatest quarterback of all time’s signature.
