1. Adjust to veteran QB Tom Brady

During the course of his flamboyant five-year career with the Bucs, quarterback Jameis Winston played in 72 games, threw 121 touchdown passes and turned over the ball an astonishing 111 times.

Over the past 11 seasons dating back to 2009, Tom Brady played 172 games with the New England Patriots, serving up 344 scores while giving away the pigskin just 112 times.

Wow. Think things will be a little different this year in Tampa? The 20-year signal-caller brings a lot to a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs in more than a decade.

Bruce Arians’ club is loaded when it comes to starting wideout and tight ends via the quartet of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard. And no doubt that Brady will take advantage of the latter two, hoping to establish a rapport with the dup that could bring back some memories of his years with the tandem of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.

Of course, the veteran quarterback figures to spread the ball around and take advantage of their talents. But look for the Buccaneers’ offense to be a lot more patient and a little less frantic. Be it Jameis Winston or Ryan Fitzpatrick the last few years, turning over the football has been a major issue for this club regardless of who’s pulling the trigger.

Look for a much more poised attack from Arians’ club this fall.
