Pick Analysis. WR. Arizona State. 42. Scouting Report. Brandon Aiyuk. 25. player

Analysis: Aiyuk is the second Arizona State wideout to be drafted in the first round in as many years. Last year, Aiyuk made a name for himself with 65 catches and 1,192 yards to accompany eight touchdowns. He’ll fit in well with Deebo Samuel in San Francisco.

Grade: B

Pick Analysis. Utah State. Jordan Love. 26. player. 49. Scouting Report. QB

Analysis: Love is raw coming out of Utah State, but he’s a great talent. The Packers are getting a smart, athletic kid who can sit behind Aaron Rodgers for a few years. The biggest thing? Improving decision-making which led to 20 touchdowns and 17 interceptions as a senior in 2019.

Grade: B-

27. player. Scouting Report. LB. Texas Tech. Jordyn Brooks. Pick Analysis. 36

Analysis: Brooks over Patrick Queen is a stunner. The Seahawks are taking the Butkus Award finalist to play alongside Bobby Wagner, but it’s a reach. Seattle needs help at the position, but he’s a question mark in coverage. Not a great problem in today’s NFL.

Grade: D

Scouting Report. player. Patrick Queen. 28. 26. Pick Analysis. LB. LSU

Analysis: Queen. is the replacement for C.J. Mosley. The Louisiana native comes from the national champions at LSU, and should provide an immediate impact as a three-down linebacker who can cover and get downhill against the run.

Grade: A

Scouting Report. Georgia. 35. Pick Analysis. OT. Isaiah Wilson. 29. player

Analysis: This makes sense for the Titans. Tennessee wants to be downhill and physical. While Wilson is a work in progress, he’s a powerful man on the right side who hopes to eventually replace Jack Conklin, who left for the Browns in free agency.

Grade: C+

59. Scouting Report. Auburn. 30. player. Pick Analysis. CB. Noah Igbinoghene

Analysis: Igbinoghene is an intriguing pick. Tons of upside but the Dolphins already have the two most expensive corners in football with Byron Jones and Xavien Howard. Miami has so many needs, it feels excessive to go corner here.

Grade: C

CB. Jeff Gladney. player. 60. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. TCU. 31

Analysis: Gladney does a nice job mirroring in man coverage and show a competitive fire, but needs to refine his technique in multiple areas. The Vikings needed to add a corner after losing Trae Waynes, Mackensie Alexander and Xavier Rhodes this offseason.

Grade: C+

RB. LSU. 32. player. Pick Analysis. Clyde Edwards-Helaire. 124. Scouting Report

Analysis: The Chiefs closed out the first round by selecting Edwards-Helaire. The former LSU star notched more than 1,800 scrimmage yards as a junior in 2019, helping the Tigers win the national championship. Another weapon for Patrick Mahomes.
