One player each NFL team can’t let hit free agency in 2021
Minnesota Vikings: RB Dalvin Cook
John Breech of CBS Sports takes a look at the recent new surrounding Minnesota Vikings’ running back Dalvin Cook, who enters the final year or his rookie contract looking for a solid pay day. The Purple Gang can ill afford to let him get away as he ran for 1,135 yards and 13 scores and caught 53 passes for an additional 519 yards.
New England Patriots: LB Dont’a Hightower
This offseason, Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick watched three veteran linebackers leave via a free agency. Jamie Collins signed with the Lions while Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts joined Brian Flores in Miami. Former first-round pick Dont’a Hightower has made 99 career regular-season starts and been part of eight playoff teams.
New Orleans Saints: LB Demario Davis
He has been a productive player no matter which team he has suited up for. Linebacker Demario Davis has never missed a game in eight seasons and in 2018, joined the Saints. He has led Sean Payton’s team in tackles each of the past two years and comes off a season in which he totaled 111 tackles, four sacks and 12 passes defensed.
