Javier Lopez joins Affeldt as another reliever who is no stranger to a 0.00 ERA in the World Series.

The left-handed Lopez was with the Giants from 2010-2016. He was traded to San Francisco at the 2010 trade deadline in what ended up being a terrific move by the front office. Lopez never had an ERA higher than 3.11 during the dynasty years and appeared in at least 65 games every year from 2011-14.

He also turned it up in the postseason. Lopez allowed one total earned run in 23 postseason appearances from 2010-14. The lone run came in the 2010 NLCS.

Lopez was used as a lefty specialist and did his job well, allowing a total of four home runs to opposing hitters during their three-title span. He had a career 6.6 K/9 with the Giants and also had seven saves during the 2012 season.

He was a specialist who did it all and retired with four total World Series championships including one with the Boston Red Sox in 2007. A team in the World Series with Lopez in the bullpen had some good luck and a talented left-handed pitcher to call upon when needed. He never made an All-Star Game, but he was a star in that Giants bullpen when it mattered most.
