3. Jerry Jeudy (DEN)

Game: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos (Sunday, 9/27, 4:25 pm EST)

With Courtland Sutton out for the year with a torn ACL, this will probably be the final time [maybe ever] that Jeudy can be classified as a “sleeper.” The man has already show otherworldly footwork and route-running prowess in two games. He might just be that damn good as a 21-year-old.

Jeudy is disadvantaged to have his signal-caller, Drew Lock, out indefinitely. But as was stated for Tre’Quan Smith and Drew Brees previously, Jeff Driskel’s passing yards will have to go somewhere. Those catches will likely be hauled in by Jeudy’s capable hands.

The Alabama alumnus is a must for WR2 or FLEX with Sutton out — no matter the quarterback.

4. CeeDee Lamb (DAL)

Game: Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 9/27, 4:25 pm EST)

Take the statements written about Jeudy and his soon-to-be non-sleeper class and clone them for Lamb. The Cowboys have two astute wide receivers in Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, so it was theorized it would take a while for Lamb to settle in behind those two talents. The theory was false.

Lamb is second on the Cowboys in receiving yards and has had no problems snatching Dak Prescott’s attention.

The Seahawks passing defense is in either in flux or flat-out isn’t very good. Regardless, Lamb will continue his youth-infused hot streak in the Emerald City.
