3. Aaron Jones personally spanks the Lions

Jones has notched two games north of 20 PPR points all season. Sure, he’s had several 10 to 20-point performances, and those are noteworthy. But in 2019, we saw glimpses of Christian McCaffrey-like days from Jones. Ergo, with Jones’ development, we expected to see several more games like that in 2020. That has not been the case to date this season, although Jones’ team is cooking.

Let’s go with Jones to abuse the Lions in Week 13. He is overdue for an especially large day, and there should be no better time for it than your fantasy playoffs. Rodgers is ready for a game to let his playmakers do some heavy lifting, and at Detroit feels like an apropos time.

The Lions surrender 26 PPR points per game to all opposing halfbacks. That is the worst in the NFL. No team in the business struggles more against tailbacks than Detroit. The Lions have a little bit of team momentum at 5-7 because of a fun win vs. the rival Chicago Bears, but that does not mean a win is on the menu against the Packers.

Jones should see oodles of touches in this contest, he’s ready for a game with 20+ fantasy points, and Green Bay will, in theory, shred the Lions in Michigan — like they always do.
