Since opening the Brian Flores Era with seven losses a season ago, the Dolphins now own a 13-10 record in their last 23 outings after stifling the Patriots. Salvon Ahmed carried 23 times for 122 yards and one touchdown while quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (who threw for 145 yards and was picked off once) ran for a pair of scores. The ‘Fins secured their first winning season since a 10-6 finish in 2016, which also happens to be their last playoff year.

The team inched closer to the franchise’s first playoff appearance since 2007 but had to rally from a pair of 17-point deficits to get the victory at Atlanta. Tom Brady finished the afternoon with 390 yards through the air and scores to Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown. But linebacker Devin White was the difference late. He finished the afternoon with a dozen tackles, knocked down two passes and had all three sacks of Falcons’ veteran Matt Ryan.

John Harbaugh’s rejuvenated squad hosted a Jaguars’ club that brought a 12-game losing streak into this tilt. With Lamar Jackson back in the lineup, the team totaled a combined 81 points in wins over the Cowboys and Browns. And that production continued vs. Jacksonville as Harbaugh’s club rolled up 409 total yards. Despite an early interception, Jackson hit on 17 of his 22 throws for 243 yards and three scores and also ran for a touchdown.
