. S. Tennessee Titans. Trevon Moehrig. 22. player. 35

The Tennessee Titans went into this offseason with some huge issues on the defensive side of the ball, issues that really hurt them when it came to the playoffs. They were trying to make it back to the AFC title game, but in the end, there were too many deficiencies on that side of the ball to really make another run at it.

This offseason, they have done a nice job filling holes on their defense, but they still need to add to their defensive backfield. One safety I feel that could go in the first round is TCU’s Trevon Moehrig, and on the Titans, he would get an opportunity to start right away.

Najee Harris. 23. player. 30. . RB. New York Jets

At pick No. 23, the New York Jets will make their second selection in the first round, and with it, they add a talented running back to the fold. If the Jets are going with a rookie signal-caller in 2021 in Zach Wilson, he needs a security blanket, and Alabama’s Najee Harris is all of that and more.

During his time with the Crimson Tide, Harris proved he could be a menace on the ground, and in the passing game, something any young quarterback needs. Harris is going to be an excellent player at the next level, and this Jets offense needs some playmakers.

Liam Eichenberg. 24. player. 55. . OT. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pick No. 24 overall in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft belongs to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who definitely need help up front along their offensive line. With this pick, the Steelers add a quality left tackle in Liam Eichenberg, who served as the anchor of one of the best offensive lines in college football last season.

As the left tackle for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Eichenberg was crucial in so many wins and did not allow a single sack during his last two years on campus. He is as NFL-ready as they come when it comes to this position group, and the Steelers need to bring in quality young players in front of Ben Roethlisberger.
