Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels are finally able to get Arch Manning to Oxford for a campus visit.

The Manning name means a lot to the folks in Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss owes much of its success to the Manning family as some of the greatest teams in the Rebels’ history were led by Archie Manning and Eli Manning.

The Rebels have been trying to get another quarterback with that same last name to their campus for a while now and it looks like that’s finally happening.

Arch Manning, currently the top-rated quarterback prospect in the 2023 recruiting class according to 247Sports and the grandson of Archie Manning, has finally made time to take a visit to Oxford. Manning will be making a visit to see Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels on July 26.

Arch’s father, Cooper Manning, previously told FanSided in a Zoom interview that he had yet to meet Kiffin and establish a relationship due to the circumstances of the last year with COVID limiting in-person meetings and campus visits. So the Mannings had some catching up to do and this visit should accomplish some quality face-to-face meeting to establish some personal connections and visit the campus of his father, uncle and grandfather’s alma mater.

The Ole Miss Rebels have a lot of competition as they try to recruit Arch Manning

Given Manning’s talent and his pedigree, it’s unsurprising to see a number of schools seek out his services. Many of the best college football teams in the country are doing what they can to get Manning to their campus.

It’s not a shocker that Manning is drawing interest from Ole Miss, but many other schools are interested in him as well.

Aside from the Rebels, Manning has received scholarship offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Texas, among others, according to 247Sports. Manning previously visited Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, SMU and Texas in June.
