The basket didn’t count, but Booker flexed for the roaring Phoenix Suns crowd regardless. It’s all part of the drama that is Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Plus, anytime you get to put a two-time MVP and All-NBA defender on a poster, you’re entitled to enjoy the heck out of it.

Crowd goes wild as Booker puts Giannis on a poster

Booker stayed ahead of a sprinting Giannis for a dunk that galvanized the Phoenix offense even though it didn’t count. The Suns stormed out to a 37-21 first-quarter lead, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

However, it turned out to be as short-lived as Booker’s after-the-whistle jam. Milwaukee held a 64-61 lead at halftime after a 43-point second quarter.

Booker led the Suns with 15 first-half points while Giannis had a dozen points, four rebounds and four assists.

Buckle up, NBA fans!
