2. Short week for Baltimore

The Ravens don’t even have time to lick their wounds and get over the physical and emotional toll of losing to the Raiders on Monday night. The Chiefs get them on a short week.

The short week wouldn’t necessarily be the end-all and be-all for Baltimore, but the circumstances around this game don’t benefit them in the slightest.

Kansas City traveling might be a great equalizer. The Ravens having a bunch of players sitting out practice because they’re dealing with injuries is probably a much bigger factor.

Losing an extra day for those players to get right could be the difference between playing or not. It could be what separates a player from being limited versus full strength.

The Chiefs need to take advantage of the potential MNF hangover, especially knowing that game went into overtime and the Ravens had a long flight home to Baltimore to stew over it.
