The Kansas City Chiefs have been eliminated and people on Twitter have taken to roasting Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews.

Following a wild overtime victory for the Cincinnati Bengals, an abundance of people on Twitter are thrilled to see the Kansas City Chiefs eliminated from the NFL Playoffs. While the Chiefs were once a very lovable underdog, many have come to dislike Kansas City in recent seasons.

Of course, a lot of that has very little to do with the Chiefs and what happens on the field. A good portion of people who dislike Kansas City’s NFL franchise dislike the brother and fiancée of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes’ fiancée, Brittany Matthews, and his brother, Jackson Mahomes, have drawn plenty of criticism and have been scrutinized on a number of occasions.

Whether the ire and outrage towards Matthews and the younger Mahomes deserved or not, that doesn’t matter right now. Some folks are thrilled to see the Chiefs lose because it means they’ll be unhappy.

Cincinnati Bengals: Fans troll Jackson Mahomes, Brittany Matthews

People are tired of TikTok dance videos. So, so tired. That probably won’t stop Mahomes or Matthews (or really anyone else), but so many people are tired of them.

And because these two are often in the spotlight because of internet shenanigans (like TikTok dances), folks online are ready to crack some jokes whenever they can.

And there are a ton of folks cracking jokes right now.

Whether the criticism is fair or not (and some of it is fair), people are going to have a ball with this one. They’re not going to hold back here.
