2. Find a way to re-sign Rasul Douglas

On defense, cornerback Rasul Douglas was a midseason move in 2021 and goodness, he blew expectations out of the water. Douglas basically went from being on his couch to a playmaker for Green Bay.

No one has forgotten about his game-sealing interception against the Arizona Cardinals midway through the season. Arizona looked ready to steal a win, but Douglas had other ideas and came up with the monster pick.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, Douglas is a free agent and he’s expected to have several teams interested in landing his services. Green Bay may not be able to afford him, especially after they gave Rodgers’ his contract worth $50 million a campaign.

Despite that, Gutekunst could find a way to get creative and get Douglas back in the fold. The veteran defensive back showed his class from the moment he joined Green Bay and the front office wants him back. It’d be a big loss if he ends up playing elsewhere this fall.
