Even though the Chattanooga Mocs weren’t able to pull off the upset of the Illinois Fighting Illini, at least Terrell Owens had some fun during the game.

March Madness is one of the most entertaining times of the year. Upsets and chaos and fun for just about everyone, even folks who don’t necessarily enjoy college basketball. It’s a great time because you never know what will actually happen.

Like seeing one of the greatest wide receivers the NFL has ever seen become a cheerleader for the Chattanooga Mocs. That’s probably not something anyone expects to see happen, and yet, it happened during March Madness this year.

During Chattanooga’s thrilling game against the Illinois Fighting Illini, T.O. somehow took possession of a cheerleader’s pompoms and became a cheerleader himself.

It’s great and fun and everyone can enjoy this.

Before he went on to embarrass NFL defensive backs, Owens actually attended Chattanooga. When he was ultimately inducted into the Hall of Fame, Owens had his own celebration on Chattanooga’s campus.

He seems to love his alma mater.

Unfortunately for Owens and the Mocs, Chattanooga wasn’t actually able to pull off a win over Illinois.

the Fighting Illini led for less than 30 seconds during this game and they still somehow managed to come out on top of Chattanooga. But, even though they only led for a handful of seconds, they led for the right handful of seconds to be able to win. And at the end of the day, that’s what ultimately matters.

But hey, at least Owens had some fun! At least Chattanooga has that!
