Braves trade rumors: Tucker Davidson

Now with the Braves Triple-A club, Davidson has played in one game with the Braves, throwing in 2.2 innings, giving up five hits, five runs, two walks while hitting a batter by a pitch, and striking out two batters. He does have a 29.3% CSW rate. About 54.5% of the hits off him are fly balls.

With pitching issues abound throughout the league, Davidson appears to have gotten the shot to pitch with Atlanta. While he didn’t initially impress so far this season, he was asked to step up during last years postseason. As the ninth-ranked prospect in the organization, the Braves have high hopes for the young pitcher but it could lead to him becoming a top trade chip as we head toward July and the trade deadline.
