4. Cameron Young (+6500)

There are several long, long shots like HV3 and two more with even longer odds, but we’re next going to look at some guys north of +6000, which leads us to Cameron Young.

Young’s biggest strength, definitively, is his ability to launch it off the tee. However, what’s impressive is that the PGA Tour rookie has proven he can compete wherever, most notably finishing T3 at the RBC Heritage, a place where length isn’t all that important with the driver. He’s not an elite approach player, but he’s above average in that capacity and is the same around the greens.

This guy is playing exceptionally well this year and was just T2 at the Wells Fargo Championship. I love for him to continue making noise and, perhaps, make his first victory post-Korn Ferry Tour to be a major championship.

3. Keegan Bradley (+7500)

You might be thinking about fading Keegan Bradley after he dropped back and ultimately failed to capture the Wells Fargo as the 54-hole leader. That would be a mistake. The veteran and former PGA Championship winner from back in 2011 has been trending up in a big way with T8, T4 and T2 finishes in his last three starts.

Bradley remains an elite ball-striker from tee-to-green and has played well this year around the green. More importantly, though, the big weakness on the putting surface has been nullified a bit as of late as he’s gaining with the flat stick recently, if only slightly. For this number for a major winner who is playing well, it’s hard to look away from the value he potentially presents.
