4. Jerick McKinnon, Kansas City Chiefs

In a backfield that has been anyone’s guess on a week-to-week basis, Jerick McKinnon has been the overall snap leader on the pass-happy Kansas City Chiefs. While his production has been disappointing based on his amount of play time, it’s noteworthy that he’s clearly the preferred passing down back in Kansas City.

With Clyde Edwards-Helaire erased from this offense, and Isiah Pacheco playing on exclusively running downs, McKinnon has a path to PPR production this week when the Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers, which almost always end up in shootouts.

3. Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

A backfield sleeper duo special! Isiah Pacheco has seemingly strengthened his grip on early downs for the Chiefs, out-carrying Edwards-Helaire 16-0 in Week 10. Though Andy Reid reiterated that CEH is still a part of the backfield, the team’s actions speak louder. Edwards-Helaire recorded zero touches in Week 10, and the team then put a claim on new Texans running back Eno Benjamin.

Pacheco seems like the clear-cut early down back for the Chiefs, and is startable this week if you’re in need at the position. The Los Angeles Chargers run defense has not been good, and Pacheco runs like a bull in a China shop anytime he touches the ball.
